Time for an 180? turn?
Many people are constantly looking back to a land of lost opportunities: the past. Their minds are filled with such thoughts as ?If only I had prepared for a different career? or ?If only I had bought that house when the market was low? or ?If only I had said accepted that job.? If only, If only, If only! Well, here?s some good news for if-only people. Since it?s impossible to change the past, you might as well get rid of your regrets and turn toward the future. You can change it, just as you can change the attitude that caused your regrets in the first place.
Fear not for the future; weep not for the past.
We must accept finite disappointment, but we must never lose infinite hope.

Forget the past, live for the future
I recommend three steps for if-only people. First, close your eyes to the disappointing scene before you. Second, carefully turn 180 degrees. Third, open your eyes to a much better view, a future full of potential and surprises: new prospects; beautiful places to visit; interesting job opportunities; wonderful new friends to make. And be careful not to turn back.
