Be ware of Techno-stress

Are you a techno junkie?
Can't wait to turn on your device and listen to your voice mail or check your emails? Is it a disaster when your cell phone or computer goes dead and you forgot your charger? Be careful! You are a serious candidate for techno-stress. What was created to simplify our life and make it easier for us to communicate may in fact be endangering our health.
Stress is an ignorant state. It believes that everything is an emergency.
Sometimes when people are under stress, they hate to think,
and it's the time when they most need to think.
Communication has been liberated from wires, enslaving us in the process. We can be reached anywhere, anytime. Emails, phone calls, voice mails, and fax messages can arrive faster - and in greater numbers - than ever before. Our laptops enable us to work when we're away from the office. Some of us may think this is great. Think again. We're in danger of being seduced by technology. Like a drug, it may create a dependency that could hurt us. We should ask ourselves, "Do I really have to be reached all the time? Will the world stop if I check on my emails tomorrow?"
You are having lunch and your phone is ringing. What are you going to do?
